Champion Lakes Boating Club Social Paddle and Breakfast
Thanks to the brave people who turned up for Saturdays function/club get together. Its not everyday you get the chance to do water sports in arctic gale conditions!!!!! It wasn’t much better on land if that makes it any easier for the paddlers who did brave the water.
Thanks to John and Genny Black for cooking the gourmet omelettes and the Wroe family for cooking the sausages and onions ( and for getting wet while doing it !!!). Also to Sue Howard for organizing collecting money.
The Dragon Boaters have taken on the role of being host at our next get together, Saturday 3 October. Make sure it goes in your diary and come along and join in the fun. If you have any suggestions to making the morning even more fun let Robyn Brown know.
